$12K TEQUILA & $280 LOBSTER ROLLS: FORMULA 1 RACES SELL THE WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVE FOOD

Sporting events have become pretty synonymous with overpriced food and drinks. While some stadiums and arenas have worked to reduce their prices—others not so much. But nothing could have prepared us for the jaw-droppingly insane menu prices at last weekend's Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix race.

The prices are so ridiculous, they've gone viral on both X (formerly Twitter) and Reddit.

Ryan Ellis (@ryanellisracing) was among one of the first to snap photos of the ludicrous menu. The first image Ellis shared was the Bites menu, which included a variety of "chilled" and "warmed" items.

At the top of the chilled list, you'll find Maine Lobster Rolls served on a brioche bun with frizzled potatoes. While the potatoes may be frizzled, we're absolutely frazzled at the $280 price tag for the sandwiches. Oh! And if you'd like to add 1 oz. of caviar to any item that'll cost you an extra $400.

And if you think things are a bit better on the warm side of the menu, think again. For $190, you can purchase an assortment of classic and lemon pepper wings. And if you'd like to toss in a little more cash, there's the F1 Platter (sliders, ribeye quesadilla, and chicken tenders) for $210. Take that, Triple Dipper!

There's also an empanada duo (one chicken empanada and one beef empanada) for $170.

The "absolutely absurd" menu prices continued on to the Drinks menu, where a bottle of Clase Azul Ultra costs $12,000 and a bottle of Tito's is available for $560. Clase Azul Ultra retails for a little over $2,100

On Reddit, most people were left stumped after seeing photos of the menu.

"I'm assuming this is platters for large groups...," one person wrote.

"They missed the decimal point right?" another user asked.

If the food is this expensive, we don't even want to know how much tickets to the race cost.
