NEOCLASSIC AND KLUBSPORT CAFE SHOWCASE LOCAL CAR CULTURE TO THE WORLD

FOLLOWING the astounding feat of showcasing Filipino car culture in exquisite fashion last January, the team behind NeoClassic continues its pursuit to exhibit the beauty of the local car culture.

On April 20, 2024, Justin Santos of Buzzhype, Alex Lim of BanaweBoy, and Bryan Revilla of Manila Street Chronicles hosted the soft opening of their newest venture, Klubsport Cafe. A collaboration between the gentlemen of NeoClassic and Alfredo Roa and Antonio San Vicente, Klubsport is the newest driving destination for car enthusiasts.

Situated at the Cleanfuel station along Tagaytay-Silang Road, the haven for car enthusiasts offers an ambiance that appeals to every gearhead looking for a place to hang out. With a fun winding road leading up to it, for people coming from the metro, the place promises an enjoyable journey that is best taken with a convoy of friends.

The team behind the car-themed cafe organized a curated car meet to signify its opening to the public. Dubbed the Ramen Drive, around 70 cars gathered to show support for the cafe's inauguration. But these were not just your typical bunch of cars gathered at a meet. To give a sense of the high quality of cars that attended, there were three NA-generation Honda NSXs that joined the meet.

Buzzhype Motorsport's Justin Santos said the group invited a select bunch to showcase their exquisite project cars. Though the car meet was invite-only, the showcased cars were open for the public to appreciate.

Making the special inauguration meet even more special, international automotive photographer Larry Chen dropped by and graced the Ramen Drive. Chen, famous in the international car scene for chronicling car culture worldwide, was hosted by Angie Mead King to visit and check out the local car community.

Prior to his appearance at the Ramen Drive, Chen was spotted visiting the local automotive parts haven in the metro, Banawe in Quezon City, to check out where most car enthusiasts get their aftermarket and imported car parts for their projects.

After showcasing the beauty of the local car scene to a large audience of Filipino car enthusiasts, NeoClassic has now offered a glimpse of the car culture in the country to the world through the eyes of Chen.

Santos said that for the next three months, monthly car meets will be hosted by the NeoClassic team in partnership with Hyundai Motor Philippines, Inc. (HMPH). This partnership seems timely as HMPH recently introduced the brand's motorsports arm locally at the recently concluded 2024 Manila International Auto Show.
