ISUZU EXTENDS TRUCK MARKET DOMINANCE WITH 43% SHARE IN EARLY 2025

ISUZU Philippines Corp. (IPC) continues to prove why it remains the country's top truck brand, securing an impressive 43-percent market share in the truck segment from January to April 2025.

According to the combined sales report released by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (Campi) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA), IPC sold 1,592 truck units during the first four months of the year — further cementing its 25-year reign as the most trusted name in Philippine trucking.

"Our continued leadership in the truck market reflects the brand's unwavering commitment to delivering vehicles that truly work for our customers. Owning an Isuzu truck means investing in a product that is proven to last longer, perform more efficiently, and cost less to maintain over time. Backed by our nationwide after-sales support, Isuzu trucks give businesses a clear edge — helping them stay competitive, reduce downtime, and maximize profitability," said IPC President Mikio Tsukui.

Isuzu's dominance in the truck category can be attributed to a solid lineup that meets the evolving needs of Filipino businesses — from small logistics operators to major infrastructure contractors.

At the forefront is the N-Series, which continues to be the best-seller with 905 units sold, reflecting a 7.2-percent growth from the same period last year. Known for its reliability and adaptability, the N-Series is especially popular among delivery and logistics firms operating in congested cities, thanks to its automatic manual transmission (AMT) option, easing driving in stop-and-go traffic.

Next is IPC's medium-duty truck range, recording 545 units sold, up by 2.4 percent year-on-year. These models are often used for intercity and regional transport, offering flexibility for various body applications while prioritizing driver safety and comfort.

The brand's heavy-duty segment also posted significant gains, with 142 units sold, marking a remarkable 59-percent jump compared to last year. Much of this demand is driven by the newly launched S&E Series, which has gained traction in large-scale infrastructure and government fleet operations. These trucks come equipped with features such as electronic vehicle stability control (EVSC) and an advanced instrument cluster with driver coaching, offering a new level of operational safety and fuel efficiency.

But beyond the hardware, Isuzu's strength lies in its full-circle support system, known as the Isuzu Advantage. This includes an extensive nationwide dealer network, guaranteed parts availability, the Isuzu Mobile Medic for on-site servicing, and a team of expert field engineers available across the country. Driver and mechanic training programs are also in place to ensure vehicles are operated safely and efficiently, maximizing the return on investment for every Isuzu owner.

With a strong first-quarter performance, IPC is well-positioned to maintain its momentum in the months ahead. The combination of dependable vehicles, real-world performance, and unmatched after-sales support continues to make Isuzu the brand of choice for Filipino truck buyers year after year.

"With this strong start to 2025, we are optimistic about maintaining this momentum through the rest of the year. We are confident that our combination of product excellence and customer support will help us retain our position as the number one truck brand in the Philippines," Tsukui added.
